play and preciousness:

an 8 week online creative development immersion

Sundays April 12th - May 31st: This immersion is a two-part series of invitations to ignite the flame and illuminate your unique creative process alongside others. The synergy of a cohort supports us shedding light on blindspots and anchoring in realizations as they are witnessed. So much of our creativity capacity is unconscious. By committing to this immersive exploration you are committing to nurturing and developing your creative capacity by bringing more of it to conscious awareness.

Month one focuses on the expansive nature of “Play” through embodiment practices and creative exercises to engage in a wide range of mediums activating different senses.

Month two focuses on the refinement process of “Preciousness”: what is worth materializing? How do you shift from an expansive lens to a narrow focus to bring something into form?

Overall the creative process is not a linear one! Join us as we explore: how does one weave and balance play and preciousness? We will come together every Sunday for an immersive experience and integrate individually throughout the week.

Who could benefit from this immersion?

  • Anyone who wants to illuminate and shed limiting unconscious patterning to build new creative pathways

  • Individuals who want to hone their unique expressions alongside the momentum of a creative community

  • Those who want to create space for and commit to a weekly exploration of creativity and activation through multi sensorial exercises.

  • Anyone who wants to fine tune their sensitivities as creative instruments

Background:

Vivian and Kyle have been building shared language and dialogue around living creatively for 17 years and want to extend this foundation to nurture a creative cohort. We recognized that we all need and want more of this right now!

Kyle’s work is based in the energetics of creativity: the creative lenses of our own baggage, how our stories, thoughts, and beliefs materialize in the forms around us. She’s observed the correlation of chaos and creativity. As the chaos around us dissolves existing structures, it also widens realms of possibility. And as more space emerges, it’s no coincidence that more individuals in her practice are expressing desire to make contact with their own creative capacity.

Vivian has worked as a professional artist for 30 years, negotiating the challenges of developing, maintaining and growing a creative voice. With deep connections to the craft community, her process is driven by an intimate relationship to material. Within this community she has noticed a recent shift in students and emerging artists asking not how to build a specific piece, or how to succeed, but rather how do I live, or survive, a creative life?

Kyle Freeman is an artist, a mystic working fluently in seen and unseen realms. She has over two decades of experience refining her intuitive skills and developing an in-depth understanding of both the built environment and the individual's physical, psychological, and spiritual relationship to their body and their environment.

She works with clients as a creative consultant, an intuitive guide, facilitating conversation between one’s spirit and persona to take responsibility in creating with a deeper level of awareness, honesty, and love in its quintessence.

Kyle attended Architecture school at Tulane University in New Orleans and Cooper Union in NYC. After four years working in the field she left in search of a deeper felt-sense and metaphysical understanding of space, architecture and its creative capacity for healing.

Her movement studies have ranged from Kundalini, Ashtanga, Nei Gung, Muay Thai, Katonah (a taoist/hatha based yoga), and her own Self-guided energetic practices. She has studied Taoist theory, Classical, BTB, and Form school Feng Shui in NYC, London and China.
