Welcome! Access to the material can all be found here. As always with all of my work, I honor and stand beside your inner knowing. My intention is to share what I know and have experienced and trust you will take in what resonates, illuminates, inspires your truth at this time and leave the rest. Trust that diving into the process of your move will activate your inner guidance and reveal precisely the information you need to evolve and create what is in alignment with you at this time. This material can only facilitate that depth of engagement. It is up to you to follow its lead.

This is a living, breathing energetic body of work so please expect to see updates and modifications. If I edit something that was really supportive to you, you are welcome to email me and request its return.

Lastly, a note on structure: there is a linear format given moving is for the most part a progressive process. I ordered it the best way possible, but it is a suggested progression and it doesn’t mean your process will follow the exact same line. I structured it with instruction to begin each module by reading or listening to the “Chapter” of the module first and then moving through the supplementary material and prompts included in the module in an intuitive way. If you feel “stumped” on one section keep moving forward in the material and it may give you more context that opens things up for you. In short, feel free to engage with the material as you feel guided… which might be non-linear at times.

Collaborations w/ Emotional “Baggage”

An audio prompt for a self-guided Breath|Energy session to dissolve collaborations with emotional baggage to be used at any point in your moving process when things are stirred to the surface.

“Wrapped in compassion and awareness (this is no small task in and of itself), we can drop into this raw energetic space to inquire, receive insight and clear any rot that no longer sustains what we want to experience on a human and soul level. The big (and little) fear, stress, anxiety and ego deaths that can be triggered by uprooting and deconstructing a home environment is directly related to the opportunity to experience our own creativity, growth and generational healing.

We create through the “lenses” (kaleidescope always comes to mind) in our energy field. Some emotional forms, mental thought forms, can be inherited. You don’t even need to understand them or know where they come from to work with them. Sometimes the process will reveal information but it’s not necessary. Remember this time period is not forever and as uncomfortable as it may be, it is a time ripe for this kind of creative work. If you can approach with curiosity while being in the midst of feels… five stars for you haha.

Daring to Desire

A Breath|Energy Session specifically for working with embodied vision and desire, clearing space for it to germinate within. In the session I speak of fire season which is summer but this is a timeless video and you can access this summer energy of courage at any time. (@ 17 min)

“One of the definitions my teacher gave of longing is ‘Desire who’s circumstance has not yet arrived.’ There is a longing towards something that is not in front of us, but we can feel the swell of a desire that aches and pulls. Longing has in it both directionality and a gravitational field. It pulls something toward us it pulls us toward something. Have circumstance and desire arrived together or am I willing something to be so. If I am willing my life into being I am going to tap my kidney I’m going to be exhausted. Desire has this more yang quality. That desire meets timing and circumstance and is willing to risk for it. The thing about true yang… is that yang energy is always vulnerable. Yang energy is vulnerability because it moves toward. It is exposed. Desire has true yang claiming that in it is a vulnerability… that can often translate as anxiety… this is the wrong move bc this is fluttering my heart … this is bringing me alive and that gets completely pathologized and translated into I’m having a panic attack. So we will shy away from desire and move towards hemming and hawing of negotiation and compromise. Let me go in and talk this out. Eros and desire are not in the realm of safety they are in a realm of risk, but I don’t mean risk like we are risking irresponsibly and creating danger for people or things. But I mean like the flutter of life force. Omg I have a truth and I don’t know where thats going to go.”

Childhood Home Visualization

A visualization exercise with journal prompts to guide you through your childhood home(s) (choose one or two) to collect information that might illuminate patterning you are ready to release, and/or details of your new home that could support your “inner child.” If your childhood home(s) are too triggering to revisit there is no need to push. Be gentle and skip this exercise. If it feels right, you could take a moment to check in with your younger selves and ask if there are any details or elements of a new house that would be nurturing.

Feng Shui BTB School Bagua Intro

As mentioned in Ch. 3 video. I don’t recommend using the bagua for every house visit. I mostly use it to deepen clients’ relationship to their current home. I was thinking that there's a modern idea that magic is above the world of material or natural order. That we have the world of science where everything is quantifiable, we can measure it, we understand the rules. And then there's magic, which breaks the rules. I was thinking that I very much disagree with that. I think that magic is actually the deeper layer of rules, it emerges, that can't be quantified, that it's inherently irrational. In a certain way, it gives us space, that we can't actually understand everything, but there is a deeper order, an order that confounds our idea of order.

Orienting in Awareness

This Video Breath|Energy session is a reminder to practicing checking in: am I in my thinking brain? Am I “feeding” though loops with my awareness? OR am I home in my body/my heart to receive guidance? It includes a short practice to seat in your heart. (@8 min)

Releasing Hypermobilization

An Audio Breath|Energy session to help you shift into being mode, receptive mode, the present moment. I also like this session for the decluttering work in Module 4 because it speaks to releasing hold on pings from the external. (@ 11 min)

Resting in the Unknown

An Audio Breath|Energy Exploration specifically for working with shifting into an embodied state of trusting, being with, the unknown and “waiting” for the next step or answer to reveal itself. (which is never really a waiting bc in the process of “waiting” you are presencing and digesting and moving energy). I lie down and work with this regularly and often, by the end of the session, I’ve shifted into a state of trust through and delicious easeful inhalations. Generally there’s a fair amount of presencing with my emotional body and clearing it to get there. I suggest you listen to the whole recording at least once and then practice on your own if my voice is a distraction. I’m more illuminating and describing the process here than I am guiding you.

You must have a room, or a certain hour or so a day, where you don’t know what was in the newspapers that morning, you don’t know who your friends are, you don’t know what you owe anybody, you don’t know what anybody owes to you. This is a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be.

Creating Space

A Breath|Energy Session I chose to support letting go and making space in your body (supports module 5 as well). It is a longer session. The first half is slow and I encourage you to use that portion to digest energetic emotional or thought forms that are connected to the objects or “webs” that are dissolving externally. (@ 45min)

Connecting to the Heart of the Home

A guided exploration to connect and listen to the spatial consciousness of your home. Are there any messages/information for you now that can support you in landing more fully in yourself and in your relationship to your home. Mirroring A Magnified “Not You”

I explain I had in mind short term when I was recording but could also play out in longer term housing. Intro to Clearing

Below is an Intro to Clearing audio lesson. I forgot to add cinnamon sticks are also good to burn. But I probably didn’t think of them because they dont produce much smoke… so maybe good for a tiny clearing or to clear your body before you begin. Q’s and A’s

I’m deeply loving engaging with all of your questions and comments. Please keep sending. Someone once told me I was like a dragon sitting on a treasure chest and thats not good haha! I have an absurd amount of insight and information on these things and I absolutely love sharing. Some Q’s I’m answering directly here and others I’m creating additional content or refining material to respond to them.

Q: I’m having a hard time connecting to my own spirit and therefore having a hard time connecting with my home body. I feel like this is the first and foremost step of all. It makes sense since I’ve been in such weird and major transition. 
Do you have any tips or tricks or favorite tracks that you like to listen to / routine that can help tap into reconnecting with spirit? I literally feel like an empty home/vessel bc I lost connection with spirit.

A: Intimacy with the abyss is the source of rebirth.

It does make sense. In a way your question/description holds guidance to your answer, your “reconnection.” In this deep transition it sounds like you have allowed your previous ways of connecting… to dissolve in order to evolve. You are safe. It is similar to how I describe (in module 4) the web of connection that dissolves as we dismantle a home when moving. In my experience, there can be a real neurological shift that emerges from allowing and being present with exactly what is… new pathways connect and open to light/spirit.

Cultivate intimacy with the abyss, the emptiness. It seems you can identify it mentally and describe it well. Now situate yourself in an environment you can access a felt sense of safety and ideally comfort. “Walk down” from your mental space into your body. What is there to meet you? Be present with any fear, anxiety (or other emotional forms) that are blocking you from making contact with the “emptiness” you describe. Drop your awareness towards your heartspace… what sensations are there? Into your belly …etc. Release any muscular tension that is ready to let go and observe how that shifts things.

Remember, the Void will naturally, eventually “fill.” Name your intention. And/Or sense it if it cannot be named. Hold it in your heartspace.

A helpful physical/energetic practice for me is lying down and working with the breath cycle as I describe in the audio recording “Resting in the Unknown: A Breath|Energy Exploration” in module 3. It explores what comes up when you “rest” in the bottom of the exhalation, the winter of the breath cycle (the unknown), and trust the inspiration/inhalation will fill you up again. All sorts of things can come up here: ex. physical sensations correlated to emotional energies. Potentially tightness in your solar plexus or chest/heart space. Your presence with the physical sensations and emotional tones allows things to shift and your body will naturally, if you can allow, open in a new way to receive the new breath, life force, spirit etc.

Q: What is BTB School of Feng Shui?

Q: Do you have any tips for making your current home (pre-move home) feel more like home as you're waiting for your move to happen? Context: my move isn't happening until spring of next year, and I'm very excited to move—it feels long overdue, and I feel like I've outgrown my current city for years now. I don't like the apartment I'm currently in—the neighborhood isn't super safe and management is terrible, and I live in an urban neighborhood so it's very loud. also, beyond the physical home, the city itself feels aggressive and ignorant. Any tips for helping me feel grounded / safe / at peace during this transition? 

A: (We spoke 1:1, some of my response below may be relevant to your case and some is what comes to mind for the general “you” (participant) reading. This goes for anyone reading: please take what resonates leave the rest.)

Yes, it can be counterintuitive but often you have to move in more fully to move out. This process often reveals more information. It’s like standing two feet in in a romantic relationship… the full picture and guidance will be revealed more clearly.

The Lessons/Contracts section in Module 1 is super helpful here. Understanding the deeper transition you are moving through, why you are there, why you are leaving, what parts of you chose to be there etc. will help you feel more at peace.

I also suggest to clients who have little points of connection and intimacy with their home because they don’t want to “invest” more in a home they are leaving… to invest more. Now this doesn’t mean you have to buy new things that are custom to a home you are going to leave. It is your heart’s investment I’m speaking to. So that could look like many different things to different people… in different spaces.

You “belong” where you are right now. Which does not at all negate that the energy around you does not match yours and that it is “taxing” you. It does not mean you need to stay in this home and town for longer than… you need to. But it does mean that it is “safe” for you to occupy your body and your current home space.

Discernment is key here, of course. Use your brain and ask your internal guidance if technically your safety is at risk here, if you are in real danger. Listen for an answer. (This can also be a helpful process so that more of you recognizes your technical safety if that is indeed the case.) I have experienced my own apartment burning down, flood waters filling my house to the ceiling, and a man murdered just beyond my doorstep. These were my homes and I was there for a reason but at some point the home scenarios were no longer safe and I was internally guided to safety. I have also been in work scenarios where I was in dangerous environments and picking up on some very intense energies from people but I was able to discern none of it was directed at me and that I was there for a specific purpose and not in direct danger of any “crossfire” from these energies. So while I could feel it all, I was safe and I was (internally) instructed to fully show up and offer my presence and my work. This is all very powerful and worth working through.

If your body is feeling technically safe but viscerally uncomfortable in your home, acknowledge it as you are doing. This environment no longer holds or amplifies my vibrancy. Deepen your relationship with your personal version of spirit support to work with the energy of your home as you work on intentionally transitioning out of your home. Feel the taxing energy of the management, the aggressive energy surrounding you, etc and ask for it to be lifted from your body, your home. The “unsafe” energy of the neighborhood, feel it, clarify that you are safe, and get specific about what you are feeling in the neighborhood… is it anger ? etc. ask that it too be lifted and your home hold your energy field. I used to do a visualization “building” sheets of light from ceiling to floor and across the ceilings and across the floors to seal my home and hold my energy. There are many techniques really. They need to resonate with you.

You can also use tools to help clear (my body often naturally does this but in some cases its too taxing), but ultimately deepening your relationship with your spirit being support (I always clarify that any energy working with me is also serving the divine) is called for. You do not have to do it all alone. You may need to ask regularly for this support in clearing.

Then practice feeling into your sense of safety and relaxing into your body, fill it up your home with your energy and energy that you and your body/senses love: sounds, smells etc. dance, sing, roll around on the ground, breathe, cook, laugh. The loudness you speak of will not go away per say but it will effect your nervous system less, it will ping you less when you move in further.

A leaky, taxing “cup” will take maintenance to keep patched up. So demand support in that maintenance and light up your little corner of the world with your pleasure. Remember: you must ask in order to receive.
