#1 Full torso (full body) breathing
This is p. 1 of the full torso breathing that we will build on. (p. 2 HERE) The invitation is gentle ease though I encourage you to welcome any resistance, frustration, awkwardness etc that comes up because that is part of the process of clearing. I talk alot so feel free to watch/listen once or twice and then do this practice on your own. I also encourage you to go rogue if you feel internally guided.
"Just completed this practice and it was just what a needed as a midday reset. I loved the use of the different fingers to connect with each "floor" of the breath. It made me think of Hakini mudra at the end, bringing all the fingers to touch. A gesture of integration, completeness to bring all the floors back together and feel that full body breath. <3"
"Oh I love that you added bringing all together (fingers / floors) that’s such a good addition!"
Q "Second day in a row completing this and I realize I have trouble expanding in the middle floor. I can feel a bit more movement in my exhale but still a more rigid floor than my lower or top floor. I'll keep working on it but wondering if you have any suggestions on how to approach?"
A "First know just your awareness of it is already shifting things. Keep with it. There is no forcing needed. I often “ask” what is this constriction/tension? And just note and be open to when/how the answer comes. It may show up outside of the practice revealing more information about your life/patterns/etc. Or you may invite something that will help facilitate a release of the constriction. You can also work with spirit and request a gentle release of what is ready to fall away. Technical practice wise there are different techniques that I use to explore."
"I always love your curios approach to these moments. Thank you!"
